Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) announced a reduction in overall trading activity fees on all exchange transactions starting Sunday, 14 February.
Fees on all transactions on ADX will be slashed by more than 22% to 0.175% from 0.225%, according to a statement on Saturday.
This is the second reduction in charges introduced by the ADX in the last two years as trading commission was lowered in June 2019 as part of Abu Dhabi’s Ghadan 2021 plan aiming at cutting costs for businesses in the emirate.
Moreover, the ADX also announced an incentive plan, which will be applied on an annual basis, for brokerage companies that generate AED 20 million worth of trading commission.
Companies that meet the annual incentive requirement are exempt from paying any trading fees to the ADX during the year in which the requirement is met.
